Our sources policy

Every rule on this site is tied to the tax authority’s own guidance, with the document named, linked, and dated. That is the whole point of the site.

How we source

• Primary sources only. Rules, rates, classifications and deadlines come from the authority’s published guidance or the statute — not from other blogs or vendor pages.
• Every figure carries a source link and a verified date. If a jurisdiction page has no source line, it is not published.
• “Guidance unclear” is a valid entry. DeFi, liquidity pools, bridging and rebasing genuinely have no clear treatment in many jurisdictions. Where that is true we say so, rather than inventing a confident answer.
• Reviewed at least annually, and immediately on any guidance change. Jurisdiction pages are reviewed by a qualified professional before they go live.
